The Arizona Diamondbacks and infielder Wilmer Flores are in agreement on a one-year deal with a club option, pending a physical, league sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan.

Flores is guaranteed to earn $4.25 million in 2019 with a base salary of $3.75 million and a $500,000 buyout of his club option, Passan reports. If Arizona decides to exercise the option, Flores would be paid $6 million in 2020.

Flores has played four different positions in the infield during his career and should bring added defensive versatility to the D-Backs.

Across six seasons in New York, the 27-year-old owned a .262/.303/.424 slash line with 68 homers and 253 RBIs.
