The Sacramento Kings have expressed interest in acquiring Atlanta Hawks guard Jeremy Lin, sources told The New York Times' Marc Stein.

The Kings are within reach of a playoff spot in the deep Western Conference and could be hoping to bolster their bench depth behind emerging point guard De'Aaron Fox.

Lin, 30, is enjoying a resurgent season after playing just 37 combined game over the past two campaigns due to injuries. He's averaging 10.8 points and 3.6 assists per game while shooting 47.8 percent from the field.

Sacramento's reportedly looking to trade the expiring deals of seldom-used veteran big men Zach Randolph and Kosta Koufos.

Along with Lin, Atlanta's reportedly made veterans Deywane Dedmon and Kent Bazemore available in trade talks with hopes of receiving additional draft picks.
