The San Antonio Spurs will officially retire the No. 9 jersey belonging to franchise icon Tony Parker when they host the Memphis Grizzlies on Nov. 11, the team announced Friday.

Aside from his 2018-19 campaign spent with the Charlotte Hornets, Parker played his entire career in San Antonio after being selected No. 28 overall in the 2001 draft. In 17 seasons with the Spurs, Parker averaged 15.8 points, 5.7 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game. He earned six All-Star Game selections.

The French point guard helped form a powerful on-court trifecta with Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, capturing NBA titles in 2003, '05, '07, and '14. The Spurs already retired Duncan's No. 21 jersey and Ginobili's No. 20.
