The NBA will commemorate the top performers from the eight-game seeding phase with a Player of the Seeding Games honor, as well as all-bubble first- and second-team selections, the league announced Tuesday.

A panel of media members who have been at the league's Disney World campus will determine the selections. Panelists will not be required to adhere to specific positional eligibility when voting for the All-Seeding Games Team.

The NBA will announce the award winners Aug. 15 before Game 1 of the Western Conference play-in round.

The players' performances through March 11 - when the league went on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic - will solely determine the traditional regular-season awards, such as league MVP and the All-NBA teams. The league announced the finalists for those awards last week.

Even after a lengthy layoff, there has been no shortage of superstar performances since the NBA restarted.

Ahead of Tuesday's slate, James Harden and Luka Doncic are tied as the top scorers of the seeding phase, dropping 33.4 points per game each. Doncic is also leading the bubble in assists, averaging 11.6 per contest. Giannis Antetokounmpo - already on the shortlist for both league MVP and Defensive Player of the Year honors - is the top rebounder with 12.8 boards per game.

Devin Booker, whose Phoenix Suns are currently undefeated in the bubble, has averaged 30.3 points, six assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game while shooting 50.4% from the floor.

Indiana Pacers forward T.J. Warren - who dropped 53 points in his team's first game in the bubble on Aug. 1 - has averaged 31 points, 6.3 rebounds, two assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game.
