Purdue receiver Rondale Moore announced Thursday that he's opting back in for the 2020 season.

Moore previously opted out on Aug. 6 to focus on preparing for the 2021 NFL Draft. He credited the Big Ten's safety protocols and daily testing as significant factors for his return, according to Yahoo Sports' Nick Bromberg.

The Big Ten recently announced its return-to-play plan for an Oct. 24 start.

"We are excited to have Rondale rejoin our team," Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm wrote in a statement. "Rondale is focused and driven to be the best, and we know that he is ready to show the world that he is better than ever."

Moore joins Ohio State's Wyatt Davis and Shaun Wade and Minnesota’s Rashod Bateman as Big Ten players who intend to opt back in after deciding months earlier to not play.

The star wideout has 143 receptions for 1,645 yards and 14 touchdowns through two seasons at Purdue.
