The most shocking defeat of the college football season occurred Saturday night as No. 1 Alabama fell on a last-second field goal in front of more than 106,000 fans at Texas A&M.

The Aggies didn't merely hand the Crimson Tide their first loss of the season. Here are four incredible streaks involving Nick Saban and his program that were brought to an end this weekend.

Saturday's loss at Kyle Field snapped an incredible 100-game winning streak for Alabama over unranked opponents. The last time the Crimson Tide lost to a team not in the AP Poll was in 2007 when Louisiana-Monroe went to Tuscaloosa and emerged with a stunning 21-14 upset win in Saban's first year back in college football.

19 straight victories

The longest active winning streak in the country is over at 19 games. The last time Alabama lost was versus Auburn in the Iron Bowl on Nov. 30, 2019. Oklahoma now holds the nation's longest winning streak at 14 thanks to an incredible comeback from a 21-point deficit in the Red River Showdown on Saturday.

For the first time, the student has defeated the master. Saban entered play Saturday with a perfect 24-0 record against his former assistants, fresh off a blowout of former offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss. Jimbo Fisher served as Saban's offensive coordinator at LSU before taking over as head coach once the Miami Dolphins came calling. Fisher's Texas A&M lost its three previous games against Saban by an average of 23 points.

106 wins for No. 1 program vs. unranked teams

Alabama's 100-game winning streak over unranked opponents wasn't even the longest run that fell Saturday. The top-ranked Crimson Tide became the first No. 1 program in the AP Poll to fall to an unranked team in 106 games. USC was the last No. 1 team to lose to an opponent not in the top 25 in a shocking defeat to Oregon State in 2008.
