Penn State's Clifford will be '100%' for game vs. Ohio State
Clifford was injured during the first half of Penn State's 23-20 loss to Iowa on Oct. 9, leaving the game with a lower back injury.
Following a bye week, Clifford played the entirety of the Nittany Lions' 20-18 loss to Illinois last weekend, including all nine overtime periods.
"We were trying to see where he was going to be. Sean's much further ahead now to be in back to 100%, so that's a positive," Franklin said.
This weekend's game will be the senior quarterback's third career matchup against the Buckeyes; Clifford lost the previous two. Penn State is currently ranked No. 20 and Ohio State is ranked No. 5.
