The PGA Tour announced a 10-year deal Wednesday to make Korn Ferry, a global organizational consulting firm, the umbrella sponsor for its development circuit, which will now be called the Korn Ferry Tour.

The sponsorship took effect Wednesday and will run through the 2028 season.

The development circuit will continue to award PGA Tour cards to the Tour's top-50 players - 25 from the regular-season points list and the top-25 points earners in the three-event playoff format.

Web.com previously held the sponsorship since 2012, taking over from Nationwide.

Notables Justin Thomas, Jason Day, Bubba Watson, and Xander Schauffele are all graduates from the newly named Korn Ferry Tour.
