Arsenal's owners reiterated Tuesday that the club isn't for sale following interest from Spotify CEO and founder Daniel Ek.

"We remain 100% committed to Arsenal and are not selling any stake in the club," a statement from Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) read, according to BBC Sport's Dan Roan. "We have not received any offer and we will not entertain any offer."

Owner Stan Kroenke and his son Josh - who, unlike his father, is a vocal member of Arsenal's boardroom - are under renewed pressure to sell the club after committing to the failed European Super League plot. The American consortium has previously upset fans over a range of matters, including high ticket prices and a lack of success for the men's team.

Ek declared his interest in purchasing the north London giants last Friday while thousands of supporters demonstrated against the Kroenkes' stewardship outside the Emirates Stadium.

"As a kid growing up, I've cheered for Arsenal as long as I can remember. If KSE would like to sell Arsenal, I'd be happy to throw my hat in the ring," Ek tweeted.

Ek reportedly called in Gunner legends Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry, and Patrick Vieira to help him win the backing of Arsenal fans, but the American owners are digging in their heels.

"Our ambition for Arsenal remains to compete to win the biggest trophies in the game and our focus remains on improving our competitiveness on the pitch to achieve this," the KSE statement added.

Stan Kroenke officially took his place among Arsenal's board of directors in 2008 after the club had finished in the Premier League's top four for 12 consecutive campaigns, winning the title three times over that span.

The Gunners' grip on England's top spots has since loosened. They're positioned 10th in the Premier League table and are therefore set to finish outside the division's leading quartet for a fifth straight season.

Arsenal are still competing for silverware in the Europa League and will face Villarreal in the first leg of their semifinal tilt Thursday.
